How to Create AutoGraded Quiz

Brightspace homepage.

Select QUIZZES from the Course Admin page.

Select NEW QUIZ

New quiz button.

Enter a NAME for your Quiz

The name section for the quiz.

Select ADD/EDIT QUESTIONS to start building the quiz questions.

Select NEW then select one of the 6 question types (circled in the image below) that can be auto-graded.

When you are done creating questions, select DONE EDITING QUESTIONS button.

Visit RESTRICTIONS tab

Select on the RESTRICTIONS tab
Change the STATUS to Active
Select a DUE DATE, is desired.

Adding restrictions to the quiz.

Visit ASSESSMENT tab

Select on the ASSESSMENT tab
Select 'Allow attempt to be set as graded immediately upon completion'.
Select the Grade Item you created to correspond with this Quiz.
Select 'Allow automatic export to grades'.

Making the quiz automatically grade and add to gradebook.

Select SAVE AND CLOSE button.
