How to Create a Video Note Attachment In Brightspace

Step 1: In the "Content" section of the element you wish to add a video note to, select the "Add stuff" button. This will open the "Add Stuff" window

Step 2: In the "Add Stuff" window, select "Add Video Note"

Step 3: The "Insert Stuff" window will now show the "Add Video Note" section, with buttons to select recording from your webcam or uploading a file, making the recording audio only, creating a new recording, and the next, back, and cancel buttons. Record your video with "New Recording" or upload one with "Upload File" and then select the "Next" button.

Step 4: The window will now give you text boxes to provide the title and description, along with the audio language and a checkbox to have captions be automatically generated. Then you can select the "Next", "Back" or "Cancel" buttons.

Step 5: The Insert Stuff page will then show a preview of the video note, along with a button to refresh the preview and the buttons to insert the preview into the content, go back to the previous page, or cancel the whole process.
