How to Install Microsoft Teams (For External Users)

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration platform that allows integrated communications, notifications, and information distribution. This article details how to install Teams on Windows and Mac computers.

Step 1: Go to the Microsoft 365 site by selecting this link.  Once on this page scroll to the bottom of the page until you see Get started with Microsoft Teams today. Select Download App

Step 2: On the next page, select Download Teams

Step 3: At the bottom of the window you will see the download select the Teams Download.

Step 4: A window will open Microsoft Teams is all installed press Continue.

Step 5: Please locate the e-mail from Rane Hall ([email protected]) and select on “Click here to join the meeting”.

Step 6: You will be directed to a new window select on "Download the Windows app".

Step 7: At the bottom left of the screen you will see the document download, Select on the file.

Step 8: Once Teams is installed you will automatically be put in the meeting this screen will appear.

Step 9: Once you have gone through the video and audio settings you can select "Join now".

Congratulations! You are in the Meeting, welcome to Microsoft Teams!
