Copying Course Components Between Brightspace Courses

Updated on

Brightspace is a learning management system that enables personalized learning, course management, and interactive content delivery for educators and students.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to copy select course components from one course offering to another.

The copy components utility lets you copy quizzes, content, grade items, discussion forums, assignments folders, and nearly every other type of component from one course to another.

To copy components between courses, you must be enrolled in both course offerings. Copying components saves you from having to recreate your course's resources significantly reducing the time required to build a course.

Step 1: Access the Brightspace Course You Want to Copy Materials INTO

From the course home page, select "Course Admin" to access the Course Administration page.
