How to Use Templates to Create Files in Brightspace

In this article, you will learn how to create a file using Templates in Brightspace.

Step 1: Click Update/Create

Step 3: Wait a moment for the new window to appear. Once it does, give it a name.

Step 4: Click on 'Select a Document Template' and a drop down menu will appear.

Step 5: Select which template you would like for your file. If you're unsure, go to the bottom of the list and you can browse for a Template.

Step 6: Select Brightspace_HTML_Template

Step 7: Click 'pages'

Step 8: These are your templates. Check off the one you want and then select the 'Add' button.

Step 9: Now that the template has been loaded in, you can write over the text and fill it in with the relevant information to your course.

Step 10: Once you're done filling in the template, select 'Save and Close'.

Now you can just repeat this if you need any other templates in your Brightspace.
