Delete the column in the Grade Book by selecting the "Course Admin" button, and the "Grades" link in the "Course Administration" page
Select the "Manage Grades" button
Select the "More Actions" drop down menu, then the "Delete" button from that menu
Select the checkbox next to the grade item you would like to delete
Then select the "Delete" button
Don't worry! You can turn on the 'Create Grade Book Entry' at any time and it will add the grade column back into your gradebook.
