How To Use Features In Teams meetings

1. Join a Teams meeting using the Teams access code.

2. Starting from left to right, select the chat option to open the chat box. This is where all meeting participants are able to talk to one another within the meeting without using their microphones.

3. To the right of "Chat," is "People." By selecting this, you can see all participants of the meeting.

4. The "Raise" feature allows you to draw attention to yourself if you have a question or a point to add on.

5. "React" allows various forms of reactions from the meeting participants. Such as a thumbs up, hand clapping, and more.

6. If you'd like to have the meeting recorded, you can select the "More" drop down menu, then the "Record and Transcribe" button, then "Start Recording" for a recording of the meeting, or "Start Transcription" for a transcription of the meeting.

7. If you'd like to turn on live captions, you can select "More" then "Language and Speech" and then "Turn on live captions"

8. To access settings in your meeting, select "more" then "Settings" and choose the relevant settings from the list

9. Selecting the "Camera" and "Mic" option allows you to turn on and off your camera and microphone. Allowing you to show the meeting participants your camera and speak through the microphone.

10. Selecting "Share" allows you to share your screen or another window to the other meeting participants.

11. By selecting "Leave," you are leaving/ending the Teams meeting.
