Associating an Assignment to a Grade Item in Brightspace

Linking an Assignment to a Grade item that's already been created:

Step 1: Select the Assignment you wish to Associate to a Grade item.

Step 2: Make sure you have the value you want set for "Grade Out Of". After that, click the "In Grade Book" drop down menu and select Edit or Link to Existing.

Step 3: Select "Link to an existing grade item" and then press the "Ok" button.

Step 1: Select the Assignment you wish to Associate to a Grade item.

Step 2: Make sure you have the value you want set for "Grade Out Of". After that, click the "In Grade Book" drop down menu and select Edit or Link to Existing.

Step 3: Select "Create and link to a new grade item" and "Numeric" for the grade type, then if not already set, select the "-- Default Scheme -- (UC Undergraduate Grade Scheme)" as shown below. Finally, press the "Ok" button.
