- Note-taking tips and methods for individuals who want to explore digital free supplemental tools that may need alternative ways to capture and retain information
- Time management and organization strategies to help individuals prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and reduce cognitive overload.
- Study and productivity tools that anyone can use to enhance their focus and efficiency.
- Explore Assistive Technologies that can enhance the learning experience for all, such as speech-to-text, voice dictation, text-to-speech, and many more applications/tools.
- We offer consultations to all staff and faculty to incorporate accessible digital content and provide support resources such as Web Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- We are critical in supporting employees with registered accommodations by partnering with the Peoples Team (Human Resources/ADA Benefits). We ensure employees have the tools and resources to perform their essential job functions effectively and equitably.
- We use the SETT Framework and HAAT Model assessments to support recommendations for assistive technology (low-technology, mid-technology, high-technology, or NO-technology) that meet the employee's unique needs, specific work environment, and job tasks.
- We have a Digital Resource Library of How-To and General Guides for individuals to access remotely as self-service digital articles.
- We provide technical support for troubleshooting adaptive/assistive (devices, hardware, equipment, or software-related) issues.
- We partner and collaborate across departments to address accessibility barriers and proactively find solutions.
