Best Practices for Creating Kahoot

We know that you use Kahoot a lot for classes and meetings. It is best practice to start using Poll Everywhere, and we have a lot more articles on Poll Everywhere, which can be found here Poll Everywhere. Another pro for changing to this best practice is that we can meet with Poll Everywhere to discuss any issues encountered with the software, including adding more accessibility features. These are not able to be done with Kahoot.

Add Alt. Text to Images

Select the "i" icon, allowing a pop-up to add the alt. text. You can find more information about what should be included in the alt. text box from this article How to create Alternative Text.

YouTube Videos must have accurate closed-captions

By utilizing this best practice of embedding YouTube videos, you can use their captions to ensure that videos are accessible to all students. You can upload your own YouTube video or choose a video already uploaded to utilize the closed captions.
