Word has built-in themes and layout templates to help make creating documents easier. Use these whenever possible to help maintain consistency and structure to your content so assistive technology can better navigate the file.

Properties to set include:
- Document title
- Document subject
- Document Author
- Authored keywords
Start With Opening A Word Document.
Select “File” from Top of Your Mac Screen.

From the Drop-Down Menu Select “Properties…”

From the Pop-Up Select “Summary.”

Fill in as many text fields as you can
