What is a hyperlink?

  • A hyperlink is a clickable element that directs a user to either an image, document, or online content.

Why is it important?

  • They allow users to navigate the web easier and find information quickly.
  • Descriptive hyperlinks help users with disabilities understand the content.

     

Click the “Insert” tab.

Click "Link," insert a title for the link, and paste the address in the address bar.

Press "OK" to have the hyperlink displayed in the slide. The hyperlink should be shown in the slide.

Press the “CTRL” key and click on the hyperlink to open it in a new tab.
